Kerry Lee Whiting has been found guilty of the attempted murder of his ex-partner and the murder of her boyfriend.
The 47-year-old former Waverley resident murdered Adrian Paul Mayne and attempted to murder his ex-partner Natalie Joyce Harris. The terrifying attack took place at a Ravenswood home on November 25 in 2021.
Mr Mayne was left with 20 separate wounds and died at the scene, while Ms Harris was taken to the Launceston General Hospital with 27 injuries, but survived the attack.

The jury deliberated for about two hours before reaching their verdicts on Tuesday. He will be sentenced on Wednesday.
